2026 INTERNSHIP DETAILS

SOAH is offering a Youth Ambassador Leadership Internship for interested and qualified high school sophomores, juniors and seniors for the 2026-2027 school year. Students who have demonstrated an interest in social justice and/or a desire for leadership roles are strongly encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attend SOAH’s Youth and School Officials Action Group community monthly meetings (in the evening, via Zoom). 

 

• Attend at least 2 SOAH Community Meetings which are held every other month, in person (most likely at Lewes Library, late afternoon/early evening) ***The first meeting interns MUST attend in person is September 10, 2026. 

 

• Participate in regularly scheduled check-ins/meetings with SOAH appointed mentor. 

 

• Help with at least 2 SOAH functions throughout the school year. 

 

• Develop and execute at least 1 SOAH youth-oriented event based on personal goals.
